Not going to lie the fact that octmons barnacles can make someone see in the future and take someone over is definitely scary. Also I thought this was going to be a GulusGammamon episode. But I guess that means GulusGammamon only appears when Gammamon feels a strong sense of loss like how he thought he loss Hiro in the Human Hunting episode and when Botamon sacrificed himself to protect Gammamon. But with Ankylomon he was unconscious but Hiro felt the lost when she was about to eat him. But this definitely proves one thing. GulusGammamon isn’t a scapegoat, he’s a source of strength that takes control and can be defined as either good or bad. Lastly the next episode has Beastmon all over it

Gulus Gammamon appeared for the first time because of Gammamon's grief and rage.
In Archnemon's episode, Gulus appeared because Gammamon was in mortal danger and that time, evolving to Gulus was purely instinctively.
In Oboromon's episode, Gammamon was pushed too far and Gammamon thought that he lost Hiro, so Gulus appeared again.

I guess thats a more technical explanation but spot on. Still there’s still one piece of the puzzle that’s a Mystery and that’s The League of Dark Data involvement in all this? I do have a theory that they could be the Dark Conqueror devoted followers. but until they do a lot more then stare out when GulusGammamon Appears that’s about all I got on them at the moment. What do U think about them?

I don't think that they are Gulus' devoted followers.

I think that, in the past, Gulus formed team with Black Growmon (Jet-black Demon Dragon), Black Rapidmon (interestingly, he doesn't have title), and Black War Greymon (Jet-black Dragon Warrior) who devolved to Black Agumon. Eyesmon dropped because he already appeared as enemy of the week, although he has title Jet-Black Shadow. There is also Loweemon (Valiant Jet-black Warrior), who may appear if authors want to keep connection.
It could be that these black digimon had some fierce battle. They were defeated, Black War Greymon devolved to Black Agumon and they left behind seriously injured Gulus who was saved by Hokuto.
So, after Gulus reappeared, those black digimon felt his presence, so they wanted to check if he is alive.

And, right now, we, watchers of Ghost Game, are waiting for something meaningful to happen.

You got a good theory there. the only thing is you’re not thinking far enough I’m not JUST talking about Gulus I’m also referring to REGULUS. Regulusmon is the confirmed Dark version of Canoweissmon he has to be the Dark Conqueror my best theory is that Regulus reincarnated himself but couldn’t suppress most of his evilself that’s probably why Gulus was also referred to as ( The Jet-Black Champion ) but it’s like U said we just have to watch for the story 2 unfold

I've never heard of Fujitsumon before, how weird... is this the first time a real Digimon functions as an extension to another one instead of a "Digital Being" doing so? What a curious case... Anyway, it always amazes me how much the people who work on this show are willing to put human characters in danger and horrible situations like body mutations, thank goodness Hiro and his friends have Mummymon on their side to help them in those extreme cases.

There's also Damemon/Tsumemon and Chuuchuumon

Makes a change instead of a cliché plot where Digimon obey someone stronger to be part of an army in order to take over something. Ghost Game seems to be slowly building up to something after seeing a different Dark Digimon observe each of GulusGammamon's battles. Pity they can't work on a different Digimon project along with this one, cause they can make much more out of it.

Digimon getting more shows would be something neat... but it could also create a conflict of interest as their TV animations are usually done to promote specific merchandising.

Now speaking of the plot of the show... sure something is going on, but the information has been presented in such a way that everything we have seen can be misleading, who knows what may happen.

Ooh, I'm eager to find out, also patient to wait.

Interesting episode that could have potentially ended up in tragedy... however... I'm thinking that Tethismon would had been able to help Hiro rather quickly, I mean... she's the healer of the group right? Surely she could have done something about the Fujitsumon right?

In any case, is Ghost Game really gonna throw at us Bastemon next episode? If so then I hope it's a good episode, because it's Bastemon the one we're talking about.

Thetismon could be used, but I think that they wanted to give spotlight to Gammamon saving Espimon as little plot progress.
I really hope that Espimon would drop his "fake Hiro" nonsense.
Bastemon as a culprit? I feel that the next episode would be "misunderstanding" episode, like episodes with Mummymon, Pumpmon, Witchmon and many more.

...I know whose tails are those in the next episode. Her name is what you do to liquids/sauces to make the food juicy.

Reminds me of the guy who got a barnacle that grew on his hand. He was at first diagnosed with marine bacteria, it would make sense since he worked around the docks but it was just the surface of the clue. Turns out when he scratched his hand on a barnacle, it lead to barnacles developing inside his hand.

How lucky is he that the barnacles attached the day everyone was going to get f'd up if he couldn't see the future?

No, next time is Bastemon, and she is perfect level digimon.

That was a clever curve ball, expected a rather ok ep as its only Octomon a Champ when were pushing on towards Mega's but instead used the slightly lesser known mon to spin the story, to once again gives us some creepy body horror visuals. So much wincing in this ep, it didn't need to show it, your head just connects the dots all on its own.

But if they were shown to have many alternate hosts/victims, does that mean Espimon went around collecting them all in the background of the ep and why were they hiding in its mouth?

Jealous girlfriend Jellymon strikes next week, wonder if this will be our infamous catfight equivalent ep for GG?

It really seems like either Espimo or the leader Fujitsumon went by and collected the rest

Took me two weeks to finish this but I have made another episode of Ghost Game of my own that continues from the last one.

Phantom Assassin
The team minus Angoramon and Ruli are walking back from the amusement park after a disaster of a day. However, unbeknownst to them, someone from the distance was watching them and forming a scheming smile on their face. Behind the person with the scheming smile is a mysterious person with a weapon prepared. The next day, Hiro is seen in his room on the computer reading yesterday’s headlines talking about the disappearance of the house of mirrors attraction at the amusement park with many people missing. While going through that headline, he has a flashback of his experience with the “House of Mirrors” followed by his argument with Jellymon. Hiro asks himself how did this happen, thinking how despite all the times he and his friends have resolved most of their Digimon encounters that they wound up failing this one in such a big way. Hiro, wanting to take his mind off it, looked at Gammamon who appeared quieter and less cheerful than usual and asked him what’s wrong? Gammamon tells Hiro he is fine and says he’s going to run some errands. Hiro, feeling some relief that Gammamon is fine as usual, gives Gammamon a list of things to get before seeing him off.
Meanwhile, Kiyoshiro and Jellymon are in their room being awkwardly silent with one another until Jellymon breaks the ice. She tries to start a conversation with darling but Kiyo stops her guessing she wanted to say she didn’t mean any of the mean things she said about him and Hiro. Jellymon confirms that and tries to apologize for it but Kiyoshiro tells her it’s fine as he gets it. Jellymon is surprised by the answer as she doesn’t get what Kiyo meant by that. Kiyoshiro explains that he gets how annoying it is for anyone to deal with a coward who faints under pressure like him all the time. He proceeds to tell Jellymon that he couldn’t help being scared of supernatural occurrences all the time as he does not see himself ever getting used to it no matter how frequent they get. Jellymon nods to his statement as Kiyoshiro asks Jellymon whether she likes him more as a coward or when he’s cool-headed. Jellymon thinks for a bit before giving him her answer where she says she thinks darling is amazing when he becomes cool-headed and uses his brain power and save the day but she admits Kiyoshiro’s cowardice is the part of him he finds charming and she tells Kiyo she is glad he was willing and put up with her shenanigans for so long. Kiyoshiro, unsure of Jellymon’s answer, gives her a thank you and goes back to doing something on his computer. Jellymon out of curiosity asks what he is doing and Kiyoshiro tells her he plugged a USB cable on his Vital Bracelet to his computer in an attempt to decipher the programming Hokuto used to create the Vital Bracelets. Hearing this peaked Jellymon’s curiosity took a closer look and was astonished to see Kiyoshiro has already deciphered the programming as far as uncovering the programs used to create the AR fields, its’ capabilities of reversing evolution on Digimon, and a few other functions the Vital Bracelet is capable of that they haven’t even gotten to yet. Kiyoshiro suddenly asks Jellymon if she could help him get into contact with the three Antylamon at the recycling center. After being caught off guard by that unexpected request asks Kiyoshiro why and Kiyo tells her he wants to have an exact copy of his Vital Bracelet for deciphering purposes and a few other items made that will help them save Tsukiyono. Knowing that Kiyoshiro is serious, Jellymon gives a serious nod and goes to make that request along with some money to pay for all of it.

At the cafe Hiro and his friends go to frequently meet up with Aoi and Rika enjoying some refreshments. Hiro asks Aoi and Rika if they wanted to ask him something slightly implying Hiro has an idea of why they wanted to meet him. Rika, albeit reluctant at first but asks Hiro if he knows where Ruli is? Hiro tries to keep the fact about Ruli being captured and asks Rika and Aoi if they haven’t seen Ruli the whole day? Aoi shakes her head saying she called Ruli on the phone today and there was no answer and so she and Rika went to see if she was ok by going to her place. They didn’t see her at home and neither was Angoramon home. Hiro listens with a blank expression knowing there is no dodging what they are about to ask. Aoi asks Hiro if he knows where Ruli went off to as he told them she had to leave the amusement park early yesterday. Hiro with his eyes widened still has no words. Rika pleads with Hiro to tell them if Ruli is ok and what happened to her? Hiro finally gave in and was about to tell them the truth about Digimon and what really happened to Ruli until they heard loud screams. Hiro, Aoi, and Rika turn to look at where the screams came from and it was people being chased by a horde of undead Digimon. Rika and Aoi screamed and said “WHAT ARE THOSE”?! Hiro says they’re hologram ghosts and tells Aoi and Rika to hide. Both the girls run and hide somewhere as Hiro activates his AR field. Gammamon, while at a loss on what to do with Lucius’s offer, snaps back and his senses when an AR field is activated, realizing Hiro is in danger. He yells his name and then flies to him leaving behind the bags of items he got for the errands leading Lucius to follow him while carrying them. With the AR field activated, it leaves Hiro alone against a horde of undead. Hiro takes a deep breath to think of the next step when Angoramon jumps in with Pyon Dump and slams down one of the undead. Hiro asks Angoramon where he has been and the latter tells Hiro he wandered around to find lost Digimon and collect his thoughts before asking Hiro what is with all the undead Digimon. Hiro has no clue to that but asks if Angoramon could help fend them off while Gammamon returns from the errands to which the latter agrees to do so. Angoramon fends off hordes of the undead Digimon with the help of Hiro calling out his moves Petit Tornado and Double Lariat respectively thanks to Hiro syncing with Angoramon. Hiro tells Angoramon of this where this happened with Jellymon previously as they drive back the undead coming at them. Angoramon responds to that info with fascination and says perhaps they could take advantage of it. More undead Digimon show up in front of them, Hiro was ready to explore syncing with Angoramon further until Hiro hears someone yelling his name and Gammamon hurls himself towards one of the undead. Seeing that Gammamon is back makes Hiro relieved. Hiro conducts evolution and evolves Gammamon to Betelgammamon and both him and Angoramon take out the horde of undead using a mix of Sorshot and Petit Tornado. However, a bigger undead Digimon in the form of Skull Baluchimon shows up along with more undead following it. Angoramon surmises someone must be summoning all of those undead and finding that source is the key to stopping them. BetelGammamon and Hiro agree but also figure they need to clear the way first and so they attempt to unleash their Ultimate form but Hiro’s vital bracelet flashes red with a flatline and makes a buzzing sound. BetelGammamon and Hiro gasp in surprise at this. BetelGammamon asks Hiro what happened and Hiro surmises he can’t evolve him to Canoweissmon, shocking BetelGammamon further and asks how. Hiro does not have an answer and has no idea what happened to where they can’t reach ultimate. That was when Betelgammamon brushes off this sudden crisis and resumes fighting after telling Hiro they’ll beat them the old fashion way as he switches and WezenGammamon and blasts away the undead with his railgun. Hiro was looking at his vital bracelet wondering why he can’t reach Ultimate and that was when Angoramon gets nailed onto the wall of the cafe by mysterious flying blades. Hiro stares at the direction the blades came from and a ninja shows up in front of him. Angoramon calls the ninja Fumamon and says he’s an assassin who kills on the request of anyone who hires him. Hiro is frozen as undead approach him and Fumamon comes closer and draws his swords intent on killing him. WezenGammamon feels the need to save Hiro but still needs to hold back SkullBaluchimon and as such he too is stuck helpless as Fumamon raises his sword.

That was until a familiar voice calls out Biri Smasher and Thetismon’s fist charges towards Fumamon forcing him to move away and turning his focus towards her. Thetismon and Kiyoshiro show up jumping off of Ginryuumon who fires a Tekkoujin at the SkullBaluchimon which slows it down giving time for WezenGammamon to clear out all the undead with a fully charged Albion. Thetismon frees Angoramon from the blades that stuck him to the wall. Angoramon tells them Fumamon could be anywhere and can strike without them knowing. Wezen immediately switching back to Betel says he’s after Hiro and they will flush him out the moment he makes his move. Fumamon throws his blades at Hiro from multiple directions but Ginryuumon blocks all of it with his tough hide and fires a Tekkoujin at the direction the blades showed up last causing Fumamon to jump up and unveiling himself. Kiyoshiro then calls for Dokutease and Thetismon creates a rain that strengthens the whole team while weakening Fumamon. Now that Fumamon is slowed down. Betel jumps onto Ginryuumon who charges at Fumamon whose in midair and hits him with Boujinha while blocking any blades that came at his way. Fumamon is sent flying towards the air as Betel jumps off Ginryuumon to a height just above Fumamon and delivers a powerful Sorshot smashing him down to the ground.
Fumamon slammed onto the ground struggling to get back up only and was grabbed on the neck by Betel much to the surprise of everyone especially Hiro with his behavior. Betel readies a Sorblow on his left hand and demands Fumamon tell him why he’s after Hiro. Fumamon tells Betel he was hired to kill him and says he kills whoever he is told to kill when Betel demands the reason. Betel with a dark expression declares to Fumamon that he will never kill anyone ever again. Angoramon, Hiro, and Thetismon, knowing what Betel is about to do, ran towards him yelling at him to stop. Betel lets go of Fumamon’s neck and with a fully charged Sorblow, he punches Fumamon with it, engulfing him in red flames that kills him. As Fumamon’s data disappears into the ether, the team is stunned at the murderous behavior BetelGammamon displayed where Hiro stares at BetelGammamon at disbelief with he just witnessed as it reminded him of when Gulus burned Arukenimon to ashes. With an expression of disbelief, he asks Gammamon why as he sees a murderous expression shown on Betel as he looked at the flames that once was Fumamon.

You're amazing. This is what you call "dark episode". The whole setting, Lucemon, Gammamon's self doubt, Aoi and Mika knowing about digimon, Fumamon and Skull Baluchimon, Betel murdering Fumamon.
Everything is here and that kind of episode would be mind-blowing.

I had a lot more in mind for this but I realized when writing that I was cramming too much in one episode so I had to split something else part way through. You probably didn't see it because it got spammed out but I had a start of episode to this with the title of the episode but you probably didn't see it. Basically Kiyoshiro puts his genius to work. This one took a while because I didn't know what to pit the team up against until I thought of assassination leading me to Fumamon and I had to read up on his abilities to put this episode to play. There is something else too, the part about the vital bracelet flashing red with a flatline and making a buzzing noise when Hiro and Betel tried reaching Ultimate? I robbed it from them. BTW, Aoi and Rika doesn't know about Digimon yet and I have more in mind with Fumamon and he's a ninja assassin.

The animators really nailed showing Hiro's pain through the entire thing of Fujitsumon
Kudos to also show him enduring the pain to help others.

Episode 54 marked the end of Digimon Adventure. This episode felt that it could be seen earlier, much earlier. It has a vibe from first 20 episodes.
You could say that this episode had a little plot progress - with Gammamon saving Espimon.
And, I really hope that Espimon would stop with his "fake Hiro" nonsense.
Fujitsumon are surely tiny but scary little fellow.

Next time, Bastemon? Is she going to be culprit or not?
Still, this is Ghost Game and we didn't see yet digimon like Ghostmon, Bakemon or Soulmon.

Hiro might be the first mc to ever have two digimon at the same time. If that ever happens.

espimon Can you like seriously f*ck off and stop taking up screen time. I don't care about his hidden story at this point, He has taken about five episodes of content collectively saying the same thing . I seriously wanna see inhumane violence done to espimon n the MC Because they are so annoying. I am now glad the Writer Put his face in the one episode bc I hope people who se him outside beat him up.
